This site has an excellent math glossary which is organized by grade. Many of the terms are explained through illustrations, examples, and demonstration applets.

Math Forum is a website hosted by Drexel University. In addition to activities, the site offers services such as problem of the week, teacher exchange, math tools, and an internet mathematics library.
This site contains examples of tiered instruction and how it is an effective differentiated instruction tool. Sample lessons are included for math, science, and language for all grades from K- 12. While the site is American and not all of the lessons match up with the Ontario curriculum, they do provide a sense as to how occasional teachers can differentiate the Ontario curriculum to better meet student readiness level, interest, and learning style.
The Ministry of Education’s eWorkshop site has problem-solving models, support strategies, printable resources, and videos designed to support effective mathematics instruction.
This site provides lists of words for your mathematics word wall or student math dictionaries. The words are organized into the following math topics: algebra, equations, exponents, fractions, graphing, measurement and geometry, percent, probability, whole numbers, and integers.
This resource has web-based virtual manipulatives for use in K-12. Among the many online manipulatives available are base blocks, a pie chart, a spinner, tangrams, and a Geoboard. There is also a concept tutorial for each virtual manipulative.
This website was created by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The site contains standards-based lesson plans and unit plans. The 541, K-12 lessons are organized, and searchable, by grade and standard. Many of the lesson plans have links to activity sheets and math tools mentioned in the plan. There are also 102 math activities on the site, as well as links to 724 reviewed web resources.
This Discovery Education site contains short videos on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
